Microbial Analysis

We specialize in microbiology testing to support production quality control programs. Our 20 years of experience in microbiology QC provide expertise and confidence in the accuracy of your test data.

Bacterial isolates are identified using two validated, powerful identification system — DNA Sequencing and FAME analysis.

Fungal isolates are identified by our staff mycologist and by DNA sequencing.

Our staff mycologist, Dr. M.G. Sinclair, uses a library of fungal keys and more than 40 years of experience to speciate filamentous fungi, including Penicillium species. To date, no identification system exists that can identify fungal isolates with acceptable accuracy. An experienced mycologist is the most reliable (and rare) 'identification system' available.
